the region of Chemlane
Chemlane is a small resort village in the Mount Lebanon
district of
Aley , situated
at only 25km from
Beirut and at 850 meters above sea level.
Chemlane is characterized by a mild climate throughout
the year and is an attractive destination for families and
traveling businessmen trying to escape the summer heat.
Chemlane climate boasts warm, dry summers and cool wet
winters. Spring is a favorable time
across Lebanon
and Chemlane
in particular
for its pleasant aroma of flowers.
In late summer (early autumn)
Chemlane fig trees produces some of the
sweetest figs available in the world.
Chemlane from the geographical point of view is situated
close to the top of the mountain so the fog that ruins
the pleasure of the mountains during summer won’t stay long
in it, unlike neighboring
towns of Aley Bhamdoun and Sofar.
Chemlane strategic location overlooking Beirut
International Airport has diverse routes to the
capital Beirut, you can choose from the roads of
Aley, Bsous, Choueifat, Aramoun
and even through Jisr el Kadi and Damour.
